I'm not exactly what you call a fitness freak. I have other friends who are more entitled to have that title. However, I'm the type that always needs to incorporate some level of exercise in my life. If I don't exercise at all, in 2 months, I would go crazy, I think. So even if it's a jog in here and there, or a Zumba workout, going on the elliptical, whatever it is, I will do it. At least once a month. At least.
If you're planning to work out at home, then you can check out some of the workouts that I do at home.. with no need of equipment.. so check out my fitness and health section. There are some workout videos there. If you're more into jogging but need the proper way to start, then I suggest you check out From Couch Potato to 5ktraining program on CoolRunning.com. I assure you, by the end of the program you won't even want to look for diet supplements that work!
I am on this program as well... so let's track each other's progress! ;) Join me!

Malaysia football fans will get yet another chance to see an English Premiere League team on our home grounds soon! The Chelsea Football Club, or The Blues as they're fondly called, (or some call them The Pensioners), will have a friendly match with our Malaysian national football team on 21st July 2011.
I'm sure there are many fans out there who can't wait to watch their favorite Chelsea players up close and in action! Remember, for early birds who purchase their tickets between May 20th - May 29th, you will get the chance to get your hands on a complimentary training pass (while stock lasts). I'm telling you, it's really worth it.
Check out the complimentary passes my brother got when he bought his early bird ticket to watch Manchester United in 2009.
Anyways, from 30th May onwards, tickets are available at selected Adidas outlets and Ticketpro outlets nationwide or through telephone booking at our hotline 603 - 7880 7999 or online purchase via www.ticketpro.com.my.
The seating and pricing are as above, so diehard fans, get your tickets now!! Even if you're not a Chelsea supporter, I'm sure it's still a hoot to watch them play up close, isn't it?
Details
Address: National Stadium, Bukit Jalil, Sri Petaling, 57700 Kuala Lumpur
Facts: Chelsea have been English champions four times, FA Cup winners six times and League Cup winners four times. They have also been successful in Europe, winning the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup twice.
I won't be seeing you guys there, but those who do, have lots of fun!!!
I count my lucky stars that when I was a teenager growing up, I never really had any problems with acne or any other skin problems. However, I did have friends whose self-esteem took a dive due to having acne. It would affect them so bad that they didn't want to go to school. Imagine yourself as a teenager and all you wanted was to have a boy/girl like you..
My younger sister is also battling eczema, a condition that stresses her out emotionally and taxing physically. She loses sleep because her eczema gets so itchy at night and to prevent her from scratching her skin and causing it to flare up, she has to wear mittens to sleep. It gets THAT bad. It's all she tweets about.. Recently, she tweeted "Rihanna wouldn't be sexy too if SHE had ECZEMA!"
Anyways, while I was helping my sister search for skin problem remedies, I discovered this acne remedy online called: Acneticin.
According to the product reviews, it is used to help those who have tried topical acne treatments with no success. It doesn't have the same side effects as causing redness, blotchiness, infections, blackheads, persistent acne, dryness, etc -- no matter your skin type. Sounds pretty amazing doesn't it? One Acneticin bottle retails for:$79.99 but if you buy it online now, you'll receive a 50% discount!
While I've found a great product for acne, I have yet to find a great product that will be able to treat my sister's eczema effectively. For now, all I can tell her is, if all else fails:
Remember when everyone was talking about Rapture and how May 21st 2011 will be the end of the world? Well, now that all time zones across the world has safely made it to May 22nd 2011, let us all move on and be concerned about other things in life than worrying about the unknown.
Did I even believe it in the first place? "Hell to the NO!" By the way.... I looove this awesome original number sang by Amber Riley a.k.a. Mercedes of Glee:
And since the day has passed and nothing has happened, there's only one conclusion to make:
I'm so thrilled!!

It is quite unfortunate to have to say that in my 28 years of age, I have had to endure hospitalization for quite a number of times. About 4 times, I believe.
Twice was when I had to give birth to my son and daughter. Once, because a fellow schoolmate threw a brick at a beehive (dumb move, I know) but it hit me instead and practically split my head open. Another was when I was hospitalized with an unknown and rare disease where doctors played guinea pig on me and tested me for all sorts of tests for about 4 days.
So during all those times that I had to spend in the hospital, nurses were my friends. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for nurses. They have to do rounds more times than the doctors. Chances are, the doctor has to see your chart to remember your names, but not nurses. :) They know you the minute you were confined to that hospital bed.
Anyways, I wish I could sponsor the nurses here with nice nursing uniforms. Unlike nurses elsewhere around the world, the scrubs our nurses wear aren't as awesome and pretty. Especially when they have to deal with children or the ill, it would be nice to see them in bright and happy colors and patterns.
Check out these nursing scrubs from MarcusUniforms.com:
They have nice maternity scrubs as well! Now if your nurse attended to you dressed like those above, won't you feel just a little bit chipper? :)
This isn't a new song. But it sure as hell got me stuck on it. It's also a far cry from the video I posted on my personal blog this week. I think the video clip is HILARIOUS! You MUST WATCH the video if you haven't already! Like seriously, do. The song is catchy, awesome and makes me wanna shuffle.
Honest to gosh, I never understood shuffling. After this video and many failed attempts of shuffling at home, I have a renewed sense of appreciation for this "art" of dancing. :) Enjoy the video. May this song chase your Monday blues away! Happy Music Monday!

I don't have a printer. I am desperate for one because I'm tired of having to go somewhere else just to print something important. It's frustrating really. I need to get a new Canon printer but I don't know if the new models are compatible with my canon ink cartridges that I have in stock now. I bought a lot last time and I still have some leftover when my printer broke on me. >.<
But I really like this Canon Pixma IP3600 Printer.
It features:
9600x2400dpi resolution with 1pl ink droplets*
Photolab-quality 10x15cm print in approx. 41 seconds*
5 Single Inks
ChromaLife100+ system**
Borderless prints to A4
PictBridge
Two paper trays
Easy-PhotoPrint EX software with Auto Photo Fix
Hi-speed USB
I don't know what all THAT means, but I think it's pretty cool! :)
In the wake of the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, (of course, now known as TRH William and Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge), replica designs of the wedding gown that was worn by Kate was being drawn just minutes after Kate Middleton came out of the Phantom Rolce Royce and re-created in less than 24 hours!
Another dress that many did not anticipate would be popularly in demand, was the dress of maid of honour, Pippa Middleton, sister of Kate.
Pippa Middleton's bridesmaid dress
New York-based evening-wear company, Faviana, has recreated both dresses and they retail at a low price of $1,800 for Kate's dress and a mere $350 for Pippa's dress. (Just in case you were looking for your bridesmaid dresses). The dresses will be ready to ship in 12 weeks.
Obviously, these replica dresses are a far cry, in terms of quality and handwork done by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and the Royal School of Needlework who's criss-crossing technique dates back to 200 years!!
Close up detailing of Kate Middleton's dress
A version of Pippa's dress, which is on display at the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney, is already attracting crowds of viewers too. However, there are a few tell-tale signs that the gown was made in a bit of a hurry. Can you spot the poor workmanship and material used?

For this week, I decided to feature a song that I'm addicted to! I call it "my high song". Don't go nuts. I don't get high nor have I ever. It's just that the song has a groove that you just can't help but vibe with, do y'know what I mean?
It totally breaks me out from my depressed mode days. So I hope it does the same for you, too! Happy Music Monday, all!

Car accident statistics indicate that at least four people involved in car accidents die every hour. Staggering, one must admit! The main causes for car accidents are reckless and negligent driving as well as drunk driving.
Human error is definitely the main cause is the inattentiveness of the driver -- talking animatedly to someone, not concentrating on the road, falling asleep on the wheel, eating and drinking, using your cellphone, etc.
People must realize that not only are they endangering themselves, but reckless driving puts other drivers and road users in danger of permanent bodily injury as well as death. Even if it doesn't lead to death, we must realize that injury of any sort causes a long term traumatic affect for the victim. Injuries can leave you unable to work and prevent you from enjoying a normal life.
What most people have to realise is, the injured party (or the party not at fault) has certain rights that they are often not aware of -- the right to be fully reimbursed for damages, which includes:
Stacked insurance policy claims
Tax, title, and licensing fees
Rental car expense or reimbursement of the same
Medical expenses for the past and future
Lost wages in the past and future
Pain and suffering for the past and future
For example, car accident attorney Austin, Texas at O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – Personal Injury Lawyers – 808 West Avenue, Austin, TX. 78701 – 512-494-9949 are one law firm that are experienced in dealing with personal injury lawsuits.
It doesn't matter where you are.. Accidents happen everywhere. Know your rights.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is pressure on the median nerve -- the nerve in the wrist that supplies feeling and movement to parts of the hand. It can lead to numbness, tingling, weakness, or muscle damage in the hand and fingers.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is common in people who perform repetitive motions of the hand and wrist. It's most common in people whose jobs require pinching or gripping with the wrist held bent. People at risk include people who use computers, carpenters, musicians, mechanics and mostly people who have increased activity in their hands. I guess that just goes to show that I shouldn't be getting that USB finger dance mat! LOL!
Honestly, I am a little bit worried about getting carpal tunnel syndrome. After all, I know for sure I am lacking in calcium because I don't like milk and stopped drinking milk by the age of 2. I don't even take calcium supplements! Not to mention all the work I'm doing online and being an active blogger since 2006!
But there is a glove that was invented for carpal tunnel relief which is dubbed the Smart Glove.
I think it's pretty super and it really helps with those suffering from arthritis and joint pains. Even if you're not suffering from any of it, I think it's really essential for us bloggers.. After all, prevention is better than cure, right? FYI, the product retails between $14.99 - $24.99 and can be found on Amazon.
It's been a few lazy couple of months and I so need to get back on track with my workouts. Despite reading the myonox review, you guys should know me by now. I'm a no pain no gain kinda person.
Basically, if you really want something, say for instance, in this case it would be a hot body -- then you've gotta work really hard no matter what. Forget what people say and just go for it. Don't stop and think about it much because you know it's gonna be really worth it in the end. Remember that you always need to sacrifice something to achieve something greater! The same thing applies to having a successful business, dreaming of a vacation or even owning a new gadget!
So anyways, I've got to really buck up and do this! I'm planning to go back to KK, end of May, for some island hopping in lieu of my belated birthday!
